Ericson brings 29 years of financial sector experience to her position at CRF.
MINNEAPOLIS - April 2, 2012 - Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF), a Minneapolis-based national non-profit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), announced it hired Jennifer Ericson as regional director of business development. With a wealth of banking, financial markets and sales experience, Ericson will support CRF's mission by bringing CRF's products to communities and small businesses in the southern U.S.

CRF brings capital to local community development lenders so they can help grow small businesses, increase affordable housing, and create and preserve jobs. Ericson will offer a broad range of financial products to small businesses in her territory, which includes 14 states from Texas through Florida and the Carolinas. CRF operates the leading national secondary market for community and economic development loans--a market CRF pioneered.

Ericson brings nearly 30 years of investment banking and financial services experience to CRF. She was recently an investment professional with Värde Partners and was a first vice president with Bank of Scotland. She spent 12 years with Cargill Financial Services Corporation as global relationship risk manager and operations manager. Early in her career, she was a commercial loan officer with Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh and Glasgow, Scotland.
Ericson has a law degree from Edinburgh University and lives in south Minneapolis with her husband and three children.
