Community Reinvestment Fund, USA selected to receive $1.4 million Financial Assistance Award from the CDFI Fund

Funds will help small businesses across the country access the financing they need to grow and create jobs.

MINNEAPOLIS – August 13, 2012 – Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF), a Minneapolis-based national non-profit and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), has been chosen as a recipient of one of the
maximum Financial Assistance (FA) grants awarded in the amount of $1.4 million from the U.S. Department of the
Treasury CDFI Fund. The award will be used to help CRF ramp up its Small Business Administration (SBA) 7(a) small
business lending program across the country. The program provides much-needed financing to businesses in
distressed communities, providing crucial jobs.
